My first newborn in my new studio in Abertillery was amazing, he certainly didn't want to sleep which was fine as we got some beautiful awake newborn portraits. I always say to parents that the newborn session can take up to 5 hours and we were just shy of 4, so not too bad considering he wasn't a sleepy baby. We even managed some with baby and Mum, which I always love to include in a newborn portrait session, after all, they aren't this little for long.
